Our Mission
Founded by Tennecia Tyndale, along with Director Thriecia Tyndale and their father Hugh Tyndale, Genuine Hands Foundation is a family based nonprofit organization built on the values of faith, unity, and service. What began as a simple desire to help those in need has grown into a movement dedicated to feeding the hungry, clothing the less fortunate, rebuilding homes, and restoring hope to communities affected by hardship and disaster.
Guided by our heartfelt motto, “One Hand Feeds Many,” we believe that true change begins at home and blossoms through acts of kindness shared within the community. We serve with humility and purpose, not only to meet immediate needs but to uplift spirits, restore dignity, and create a ripple of goodness throughout our island. Together, with every meal shared and every heart touched, we are building a stronger, kinder, and more united Jamaica. one hand, one life, one family, and one community at a time.
Genuine Hands Foundation- Key Accomplishments
The Foundation, led by Tennecia Tyndale (founder/CEO), has held its annual Christmas “treat” in the community of Dundee, Maroon Town serving more than 150 adults and children during one such event.
In that Christmas treat event, meals were handed out to community members including residents with disabilities (for example, an amputee in Maroon Town) showing the inclusive reach of the outreach.
The Foundation also organises a back-to-school fair annually, offering support to children and families in preparation for the school year.
Partnerships with organizations such as the Montego Bay Boys & Girls Club, local churches, Fair Prospect Primary school, and community groups, we envision a network of care that nurtures children, strengthens families, uplifts the elderly, and restores dignity to all who face hardships.
